What Malik reads, where it is kept, who sees it and how to delete it.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Who we are

Malik AI is an AI coworker that works in your team's chats. This page explains what Malik reads, where it is kept, who sees it and how to delete it. Questions and requests: hello@alnuzum.com.

What Malik reads

Messages in the chats it is added to (Telegram groups, Slack channels): all messages there, so that it knows the context of the team and can answer from the history. It does not see chats it has not been added to.

Files sent to those chats (PDF, spreadsheets, documents): Malik downloads them to read them and calculate from them.

Systems you connect, such as spreadsheets, documents, a calendar, a CRM or an accounting system: only the ones you connect yourself, with view or edit access as you choose. Accounting systems are connected read-only.

When you sign up: your email address, to confirm the registration, and the Telegram account you use to set up your bot.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account, Malik asks for access to Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive and Google Calendar, depending on what you connect. It uses this access only to do the work your team asks for: to read and edit your spreadsheets and documents and to read and change calendar events.

You can revoke this access at any time in your Google account settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).

How it is used

Only to do the work for your team: answer questions from the history, check the work, prepare documents and update the systems you connected.

To understand messages and do the work, Malik sends the relevant messages, files and data from connected systems to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude model Malik runs on.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

Chat history, downloaded files and access tokens for connected systems are kept on a server run by the Malik team. The messages themselves also stay in Telegram or Slack under their own policies.

Who sees it

People in a chat see what Malik writes in that chat. When something concerns one person, Malik writes to that person privately.

Malik takes into account who may see what: for example, it does not give financial data to someone who has no right to it.

The Malik team has technical access to the server to run and fix the service. Anthropic processes data as described above. Nobody else gets it from us.

How to delete it

Remove Malik from a chat, and it stops reading that chat.

Revoke a connection in the settings of the connected system, and Malik loses access to it.

Write to hello@alnuzum.com from the email you signed up with, and we will delete your team's chat history, files and access tokens from our server.
